Thank You for loving me

Thank You for loving me
For letting me know You are there
I know I don’t always show it
But Your love sets me free

Thank You for loving me
For holding me in your tender care
Sometimes it is a challenge
For me to trust that You really are there

Thank You for loving me
For teaching me everything I need to know
For the perfect ways that Your Laws
always bring me back home to You

Thank You for loving me
Even though I do not yet understand
Just what Your love means
And the power of something so grand

Thank You for loving me
For Your patience, grace and mercy
At times I feel so unworthy
It is hard to comprehend Your majesty

Thank You for loving me
For never giving up on me
At times I feel Your love so powerfully
It seems to overwhelm me.
